My Story
Hi! I am Lisa Pechacek, founder of Educational Insight. I have been teaching for over 30 years and hold a masters degree in education. Throughout my years of teaching in a variety of educational settings, I have come to the realization that I love helping students unlock their educational potential.
Teaching is my passion. I have taught in public, private, and homeschool settings, providing me with vast experience with different types of learners. I believe everyone is capable of learning; we just need to find what works for each student and build skills and confidence using a motivating and positive process. Most of all, I love working with my students and sharing their successes!
We are beyond grateful for Lisa's help and guidance on our son's reading journey. When we first began working with Lisa, he was a 6th grader reading at a 2nd-grade level due to the challenges of dyslexia. Under Lisa's compassionate and expert guidance, our son has made tremendous progress and is now confidently reading at a 6th-grade level in just one year.
She not only provided targeted instruction tailored to his unique learning style but also helped rebuild his confidence and improve his enjoyment of reading. Each session was engaging, supportive, and structured to meet achievable goals. Since completing the Reading Horizons program with Lisa, our daily school experience has been transformed, and my son continues to improve in his reading.

Our Reading Program uses the Orton-Gillingham method. Using the skills I have gained through many years of teaching, I tailor the instruction to meet the student's needs. Students experience a friendly, positive, and uniquely tailored program with direct feedback to improve learning.
